Strand Of Hope
She cried in the middle of the night,
Trying to tell herself everything is alright.
Tears run down her face,
As she seems to misplace.
She talks to the moos as if it can hear,
Hoping he will not disappear.
He gives her a smile,
Hoping she will stay for a while.
She talks to him as a friend,
She knows he is one that will commend.
She wishes he was real,
She knows he would be the one to help her heal.
Her tears tern to blood,
As one falls after another,
Leaving marks on her face,
Leaving a red trace.
You can tell the pain through her eyes,
But no one can see that her spirit dies.
As she sits with him through the night,
She wonders if her is alright.
Two lonely souls lie together, (lie down)
Only one dies slowly in pain,
She has learned to obtain.
Her and the moon stand side by side,
But only in her mind their eyes are open wide.
She wises she can be the star next to the moon,
She wishes she could be with him all through the afternoon.
The moon whispers in the middle of the night,
"Everything will be alright.
Wipe away your tears,
Forget all your fears,
I am here."
No one knows her spirit dies,
Everyone sees the pain in her eyes.
She talks to the moon as if it can hear,
Hoping he will not disappear.
