Stranded

Standing there across the waves, My heart sang to me; Calling to me, endless days, Begging me to take her away; Alone and isolated, She had become; On her own island shore, Where I left her so long ago; After so much damage, How could I trust her anymore; But I spanned the sea, Bounded the waves; Saved the black heart, That belonged to me; Although cold and broken, Like a mirror shattered; The soft waves, Could mend her again; Plunging her deep below, To the bottom of the sea; Spirits of loving nature, Shared with me, my grief; Healing, mending, Shaping love; Into a mass, Of unworthiness; Merged as one, Was she and me; Finally, finally, I was whole again.
