Stranded
Stranded.
I find myself staring off into the distance. Questioning my whole existence.
Who is here? Who is Listening?
That’s when I hear Him speak words of Wisdom
He is the only thing that Saved me. He is the God that made me.
And though he may not be visible, He is all that I have faith in.
He Says, “I will NEVER desert you. I will never forsake you”
That’s when I fall onto my knees and thank my Lord and Savior.
You see life is never easy, especially when you’re on your own
But I find comfort in knowing that with God I will never be alone
I have a hand to hold onto forever, one that guides me through my journey
He tells me that he loves me, and though I am deserted, there is no need to worry.
For there is a greater ending to my story, I just have to wait for it to begin
So every night when I lay down to dream, my last words are Amen.
All I need is found in me. My one True King that sets me free.
