Stranded Strings

On an island far away

So, some music I will play

Six strings and my hands

Melody in the sands

Mood displayed in every note

Mental songs that I have wrote

Come alive with every strum

Blended together as I hum

S – O – S

Will I be found?

By someone else

Another sound

The sun falls

Night brings the moon

I have been found

By a tune

The tune asked

“Sir, can you use a hand?”

“Of course” I replied

And we were a band

No longer alone

I was happy
