Strange

Ephesians 6:12 New English Translation (NET Bible)

12 For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the powers, against the world rulers of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavens.

Proverbs 4:19 New English Translation (NET Bible)

19 The way of the wicked is like gloomy darkness;
they do not know what they stumble over.

Strange

Developing nations building on shrinking hearts

the sickness of it all smell up in the sky.

Growing degradation ingrained in the smarts

of folks labeled intelligent while Heaven wonders “Why?”

Pay me now for the way you treated my pappy.

Even if you did not do it, you will feed the bill.

I want something free sounds kind of crappie

but that the way I am taught by the liberals on the hill.

The devil rules the world and the governments show it.

Sometimes the Lord overrules the self-appointed "plums".

He does not do it regularly nor interferes with man’s desires

as they move in their death-march on the sounds of hollow drums.

Some folks get all for nothing and some work themselves to death.

Some folks enjoy a free ride all their days of existence.

Nothing seems fair about it but it happens everywhere

where life departed long ago by folks’ own persistence.

They are dead serious and believing every lie.

Liberals provide the rope for these to hang themselves.

Others will then celebrate as they are slowly moving

dangling from a tree that is watered from their well.

“I have rights and you have none” is their battle cry.

Rotten to the core in their chosen degradation

Take all that belongs from others and so feel justified

Hell on earth is blossoming and not justice in our nation.

Rains may come and rains may go but nothing washes clean.

All it simply does is spreading sewage all around.

We’ve come a long way baby and most everybody dreams

about sailing smoothly as we're running into the ground.

Well my productive laborers you are now slaves of a few.

Who manipulate everything while we don’t have a clue.

A slick generation ... that is covered with slight mildew

inherited from our children’s fathers who slept in their pews.
