Strange

How did I end up in this struggle?

How did I end up in destruction of myself as well as others?

To hear the words "I Love You" means much to me, just what are they to you?

You say you care and that you'll always be there

But when the time comes, I tend to find you nowhere.

The tears I haven't cried, the smiles I haven't let down are yet to be discovered

Then you'll see my heart and find that it's covered, covered with bandages

from all of the hurt, watch people take advantage.

Only I know what I feel, and only I can find a way to heal.

Why should I be treated like this?, treated like I ain't worth a dime, or worth any other's time.

I pulled up the shade, maybe I should let it back down

because no one wants to see me whether I'm up or down.

I feel like I am being used and accused which leads me to be confused as to why I'm being abused.

My life should be rearranged, I know they say people can change

but if you read this poem you'd see that in my mind things are just STRANGE!
