strange craving

as a young child you always had sudden cravings

whether its a chocolate bar

or smelling the fuems from gas going in that brand new mercedes

you come out so innocent with a mind like a young baby

but as you get older its like you havent thought the same latley

you begin to mature, and see the world in the bigger picture

and your innocense is stripped away like pants on stripper

the person that you once loved so much

got a strange craving after they had lost a bunch

they acted differently whenver you saw them

and tried to hide the new desire even though you were there when they bought it

you tried to help and no matter how hard they fought it

it had a grasp on them with a grip that was robotic

everything changed after that day

the one I use to love so much didnt see me the same way

I use to see them almost every single day

now theyre too scared to come over became they are so ashamed

the craving took control and ruined thier life

and now I have a hole in my heart that you could look through and still see light

because I know deep down theyre still the person I loved

but if I want to move on I just need to give up
