Stranger

I see a stranger standing there

And wonder of her cares.

Where is she from

And why did she come?

What are her fears

What causes her tears?

I wonder why she is alone

Did she choose to be on her own?

Does she dance in the rain

Or hide from the pain?

What makes her laugh and smile

Is it a day in or running a mile?

All this I think in a minute of mine

Before we both are swept into time
