You saw

Every step I took

And every step you took

Away from me

Distancing yourself

Cutting ties with all I need

You watched me bleed

And you stood there

Right there

And not once

After everything

Did you reach out

And save me

From the mess you left me

Drowning in

I let you inside

Where no one had ever been

I told you things

I never believed

I could trust in anyone else's hands

It was all you

I placed this heart

In your hands

So I can't understand it

I can't even imagine

How you

How you could turn on me

And break my heart

How

After everything

You could be so cruel

So cold

And if I could stop

I would

I'd give all I had

Not love you

Miss you this much

I see you

Standing right there

And I feel it

I feel it break inside

As I break down

And you

You barely flinch

As if I'm not even there

And I'll never understand it

I'll never know

How someone

Someone who once held me so close

And whispered

How much he loved me

Could turn on me

So easily

As if

I was no more

Then a stranger
