To The Stranger, Who stole my heart for a while...
This muse is for a stranger, who stole my heart for a while..
Not by her charming beauty, but the subtle smile...
I remember when I saw her first, a beautiful mess..
Standing around the corner, was she in her yellow dress...
Well, that was the time, she stole my heart..
I wondered,”Had got sent her, to do her part” ?...
We talked for a while, played a game or two..
Sat under the starry skies, we had a chat there too...
A time came.. I was about to confess my attraction..
Soon to be my relief, from the worldly distraction...
But then I realised, She’s the one I could never woo..
Late came the thought, loving her was my taboo...
I can’t do anything, never felt so
powerless..
I still remember her first glance..
Oh! How beautiful she looked in her yellow dress...
Months passed, Seasons changed..
The time flew and feelings re-arranged...
Now my Heart repents, on what it has done..
Kept quite when it was needed none..
And trapped inside, the web it spun...
Sipping through my cup, I again thought of you..
Your memories settling on my heart, like a morning dew...
And here I am still writing praises about you..
Hoping for a day, you’d read and get impressed..
It still reminds me of the day,
When I saw you in that dress....
