Stranger In The Womb
You aborted me. Although we both felt the same pain, you suffered more than I did, because while you sunk into the deep dark walls of depression, regret, and guilt, I went to a place where I would feel love and appreciated for my presence. You thought because I wasn't there phyiscally in your face to tell you that you were making a big mistake, I wouldn't be affected by your decision. But I was. I get that when faced with hard times you make hard decsion but why lay down and have unprotected sex in the first place when you knew all along you weren't capable of rasing a child and that I would be the outcome of your foolishness. I'm innocent. In mind you're not better than any other child killer because the few weeks we had together all you thought about was yourself- how much of a burden I was going to be and how much I was going to cost you, the freedom you were going to have to give up, you never thought about what it would be like to witness my first words or steps, to kiss my leg after I got a booboo the day I finally got my training wheels off my bike or to have our faces decorated with the colors of the rainbow just to make me feel better. If you did think about these things, obviously the cons outweighed the pros in the end. I had the right to live my life and grow up to be a normal person just as you did, but you took that away from me. Instead of aborting me, you could have given me up to a family that deserved me. You thought by going to a friendly clinic that murders unborn children, enduring such excruciating pain and paying more than 300 dollars of probably borrowed money, would make all your encountered problems go away, but they progressed them. The realization of what you did hit you like a monster truck driving full force into a concrete wall. You started thinking about what kind of person I would have been and the future I would have had. You learned that I was your child and was the one person that would love you for you. But the damage had already been done. I don't hate you but I do thank you, because without you I would have not had a little introduction to what kind of world there is. I'm one of those people that can say "The Good Die Young," because I know if I were alive today, I would have been the one to make a difference in the world.
