Strangers

strangers all

on orientation day,

as we all came together

from different walks of life,

and different ports of call,

we came all with one

and many agendas though,

all to learn

‘bout what had happened

in the seasons of our pasts,

where in new beginnings

and feelings were so raw,

where feelings of the heart

became revelations of one’s soul,

and then in the days

that came and went,

where strangers of the night

became to be as one,

now as a family,

a family of P.T.S.D.

a family of trauma,

now a family of hope……
