Strangers In The Hour

Moonlit night strangers
Sunkissed morning showers
Naked truth hour
Like any n incredibly beautiful liar
From the top of Sears tower
Feeling heady with power
Do not want to get sober
Drunk on life like lovers
Life can you take me higher
Life no longer a stranger
Taking me down the path of unknown corners
Lurking uncertainties and love you cannot conquer
In the throes of this awakening hunger
Like deep within me that wants to surrender
That makes me want to hold on forever
What started as two people coming together
A smile that lasted all day makes me wonder
This heady feeling that makes me stay and linger
Week that seemed so short Monday that's already here
Life feels like honeymoon meant to last forever
