Strawberry Fields

We can make the stars align even on a sunny day

I see them in your eyes

As we stare at each other over the strawberry field we stand on

On this radiant day

Was when it all felt new to me

It was like a vivid dream

So concrete yet so imaginary

The sensation of the sun on our skin is so warm

Just like the smile you gave me when our lips touched for the first time

In an immense green field with little splashes of red, we ran

time stopped

And we never looked back
