A Stream

I am a stream,

Not a river.

I don’t dream to be bigger.

There was a time when I was a stream with a dream

To be seen for what I thought was me

However, my flow was stopped by a dam, like the 5 am tram.

The mist dissipated taking the illusion and weight with it.

So, don’t confuse me with a river.

Cause fulfilling a need

For those who are lost

No matter the cost

This is a job only a stream can do.
