Stream of Consciousness

Words run circles from the moment I wake up, to the moment I go to sleep And even when I sleep, they keep running, their feet twisting into themselves, falling, stumbling, backtracking, making no sense. When I'm awake I think of anything and everything (perhaps a little too much). I want to see him because I don't want to lose him, But I don't want to see him, because I don't want to lose me, Should I eat more of that cheese? Don't forget to e-mail your class, Check your bank account, Wait, no, don't do that, Where are you going to be in the future? Who do you want to be? I should go to the gym, but pizza, but what? But sometimes I feel awfully lonely, and nothing but my words, my wonderful stream of consciousness, running rivers and carving valleys in the canyon of my brain, can comfort me.
