Streams
I am in love with the lines on your face,
A decade of wearing you down.
Emotions run like rushing water,
Engraining caverns of joy and pain,
Of thoughtfulness and contemplation
Of a million experiences
Over the years I have yet to
Endure. Or enjoy. Both.
Your face gives you away,
And I embrace the story each one carries.
