On the Street
They put me out on the street
Now I’m out and all alone
I’ve got lots of sores on my feet
I just want to go back home
My family abandoned me
Now what am I to do?
Just run away and flee?
Maybe I’ll stay at a zoo
I’m alone and very afraid
I don’t want to get hurt
My welcome was overstayed
Now they put me in the dirt
I don’t want to be out here
I just want my family near
