The Street

Pardon me

but you are trespassing

on my street

on my foot patrolling street

where the passerby, the elite, stroll by

but it is to their honor

that those without shoes or sandals bear

the trumpet of wisdom built on isolation do swear!

Pardon me

But your trespassing

upon your own heart...the street...souls in your care.
