Street Corner Singin by LesII

Street corner singing

Summertime Good times

Sitting on the corner, Signifying

Quiet, Is that the kid I hear crying

I heard him scream

If I'm lying, I'm dying

Street corner singing

Summertime Good times

Sitting on the corner, Signifying

Sunday school picnics and barbecues

Dad sitting on the stoop

Reading the news

Street corner singing

Summertime Good times

Sitting on the corner, Signifying

Sitting on the porch

Watching folks walk by

Better not fail to say Hi

"I didn't sleep with you last night

So you better speak or we got to fight

Street corner singing

Summertime Good times

Sitting on the corner, Signifying

Temptations, Smokey, James Brown

Summertime songs are the sweetest around

Cruising in the park,

In Mama's ride

The fact it's Mama's

We try to hide,

Street corner singing

Summertime Good times

Sitting on the corner, Signifying

Girls in short short and halter tops

Watch out now!

It just don't stop

Looks like two pigs in a blanket

I want to thank ya!

Street corner singing

Summertime Good times

Sitting on the corner, Signifying
