Street Soccer

All our feet were bare And still soft against the tar Our eyes fixed on the tattered ball, Ears listening for a car We'd have played all night too The sun setting only could mar The scuples of our zeal To play on,and an But one day,and just one day nobody heard and noone saw The speeding car sneaking behind Sabelo... sent him flying,in the air... So sure I saw him smiling ,being six or seven,I ran to him to ask "Dude, how did thaat feel, you landed pretty hard tho, But you flew bro!" After he'd landed And,never responded "Haha, you can't sleep with your eyes open, quit playing mahn" I'd never seen death His head on my lap, eyes wide open, body not in motion The car sped away But it was Sabelo that I never saw again
