Street Walk
my clothes do not cover me
from the sick imaginings of demented, tortured minds
no control but only a pressing obligation to walk past, into the future
seeking refuge, receiving distrust
check me out, I am no library book
you can not pour over my pages
I give you no life
paint the hot air balloon with sunset colors
pick every daisy from the field
breed mutts and loose them on the streets
you will never find what you need
suns set.
daisies wilt.
mutts die.
the force of an atomic bomb could, not
ever pump the life back into your lungs
your flesh is rotting, the parasitic poison runs down your spine
splashing every orifice, leaving no urge unacted
tear away my choice
slash my will into fragmented, voiceless raindrops
to think you can: is to display your ego
wear your pride like a swastika
you.
you are weak
You will never find what you seek
from this woman.
