Stregnth

I tell you to stop I warn you death and dire comes out of such a bad habit You take it in, one after another I act as if I can’t see I act as if I notice none You keep drinking I get nervous I feel heavy Your fists land profoundly on my face I yell, tears streaming down I bleed, attempting to fight You laugh, and hold me now so sweetly I ask why? I question my will power and self respect You know exactly how much I have… ohh so little You take me in your arms, embracing me You kiss me, I accept, even though I hurt You force me to be a seductive women, I can not be You grab the body you hit You desire the temple you trash You place your wasted dirty body to mine You thrust; my heart falls to a stomach in pain You want me to look pleasured; all I do is think about you and me You want time to halt, I keep counting the seconds You ask, “You like this?”… My body asks, “Is it over?” You go into a moment of awe, as I lay there, stone-like You take yourself off me; I curl up in a ball You kiss my shoulder and walk off I lay there, naked and beat I lay there, desperate and hurt I lay here, wanting more options I lay here, knowing I should leave I lay here thinking I love you I laid there, more than enough times I now stand here, looking at the tenacious woman you’ve built My reflection shows me all, I Am A Free Woman!!
