Strength

Sitting here in this dark room, There are no doors, no windows, no light. . . Cannot find a way out, Everything is growing dim. . . And not a day passes by. But a small opening does appear beside my limp body, And glows in innocence. I dig with dead flesh out of that hole, and into the light! Breaking free of such a world, And releasing into a. . . Brighter place to live! There's a hand that's reaching out to me, And it's saying "Good morning, Welcome to the light, You are safe, Within these arms. . . Of mine. . ."
