Strength
"I Am Strong" The Words I would Repeat In My head
when I was a kid,
Under a bed,
frightened, Nowhere to run
rember her crying,
while I was Frozen inside,
the day she decided to leave without knowing,
In her stomach my salvation was growing,
those are three times in my life,
where when I was dying inside,
something told me "Be Brave" so I pulled my pants up
and wiped the tears off my face,
"Momma I love you, I will fix your hurting inside"
I don't Hate my dad,
despite all the fear he put in my heart,
despite all the Scars he left momma Inside,
because of you now I am A man
"I am Strong"
The day I was under that bed even though I was the most scared,
i was holding my sister in my arms telling myself "I Am Strong"
When you stopped hitting my mom and you left,
i was no longer frozen,
i went to my mom and told her stop crying "I Am Strong"
And then he was born My salvation,
My brother, He will not see what I saw,
i promised my mom for him it was going to be different,
and The end of this Poem is Here,
And dad I thank you a lot,
because of you
"Strength Is Now Always Inside"
