Strength in Failing
You know how life is full of choices?
do I lead or do I follow,
living life as I have lived it,
feeling empty, feeling hollow.
For me the glass is full or empty,
though this view I've heard is shallow,
living life as I have lived it,
judge not me by just my shadow.
For the path I've walked is paved with,
many stones and shards of glass,
If you feel that I am lying,
see the footprints in my past.
Though I'm broken I am trying,
though it takes me twice as long,
still you'll find by still not dying,
even faliure makes you strong.
So don't judge this fallen person,
from the beaken of his past,
I still find my strength in learning,
Nothing bad is meant to last.
Take a step with me that's forward,
though there's darkness up ahead,
and we'll find with each day more we're,
Conquoring the things we dread.
