The Strength of my Weakness

My bones are weak and frail

The life within me died

I spend my nights crying

My heart has been torn into pieces.

I gave up on life

I decided not to go on

I tried to live, but life gave up on me

I’m I awake or I’m I still sleeping.

I found the strength to carry on

I won’t let the hurt overcome me anymore

I decided to make a change

I’m stronger than my fears and the pain life brought me through.

I saw the victory

I saw myself smiling again

I’m not a failure

I’m a warrior, a conqueror, an over-comer.
