Strength Within Because You Can

Has anyone ever told you that you can't do something?

That you're not good enough?

That you won't succeed?

Tears shed in the lack of apathy present

Tearing your dreams down like the 9/11 bombing, creating unwanted internal mass destruction in the pit of the soul.

Does it hurt?

Does it burn?

After that, "you can" turns into "can you?"

And positive processing changes 360 into the shockwave of negativity.

Starting out strong means nothing unless the motivation from the start of the journey continues on throughout

And the TNT, detonators, and nay-sayers should not get into the back of your mind

Because when you let the infestation in, it doesn't just go in one ear then miraculously go out the other

That unfavorable statement will stick in your mind as a starting piece of grievance and overtime it will manifest itself into the destruction of your demise, causing your own fatal eradication.

But yet, we choose to place the unwanted blame on the person that only contributed a mere pea size of an amount to the final blow

Looking for someone to place the burden is much easier than choosing to stop, look in the reliable mirror, and see the undesirable truth

It's hard looking the devil in the eyes and facing the unjust Lucifer who is yourself.

To believe is to accept as true or real

Dreaming is a series of thoughts, images, or emotions that occur during sleep

To inspire is to affect, guide, or arouse by divine influence

Those precise definitions are none other than meaningless holograms used to paint a forever blank canvas.

The real Leonardo Mona Lisa significant artistic value does not lye caught to the naked eye

No, the true craft  is behind the big picture

Look past just the captivating draw and into the abyss of the background, that is it.

The dictionary definitions of those three powerful words are meaningless unless further examined

You can't relate to another going through cancer, neither sharing the feelings of a grieving family

Disregarding the unpleasant aspects, you won't know how to associate with a new profound mother or a newly wed because of the lack of empathy

You won't know unless you've gone through it yourself.

It is all your story to tell

Non-fiction

Your auto-biography, your memoir

Who said that you can't?

Everyone believes in something and that is how the seed is planted

Then, that belief sprouts about and becomes a dream that you want to become a reality so bad that you can taste it

And when you've finally won the battle, crossed the Atlantic, climbed the mountain, and vanquished the beast, it'll be your story to tell.

From me to you, inspire,

You can.
