Strength in the World

Who could I be?

Strength is what defines my life,

Both from myself and my surroundings.

I am a victim.

Child abuse in particular.

I was quiet for years,

Lack of strength defined me for a long time.

Opening up and support from my mother helped me, become me.

Self harm and depression of denial was before that.

I felt desperate and alone, and it took more strength to get help than keeping quiet.

I finally mustered up the courage, and I finally had inner peace.

I wish to help others through what I have been through.

Giving others strength is my dream.

To aid others is what pleases me.

Strength is what I want in the world.
