stress

it's only stress they tell me. it will soon be gone when your life is figured out. but do they understand that stress is no longer healthy when it leaves me lying awake at night on a pillowcase soaked with self-doubt and anger? will it only be stress when someone witnesses me melting down because i don't believe i will ever amount to anything? is stress only a phase when my father walks in on me dry heaving over a toilet trying to empty myself of hatred? maybe so, but it's impossible to believe my life will go on with a crippling fear that i'll never be good enough that causes me to want to stay in bed and sob all day. but i'm probably wrong. what do i know? it's just a phase..
