Stressed

Underneath the stacks & stacks & stacks of college papers (that pretty much just want your money in so many words)

There is a human, a girl even.

Who is stressed.

Stressed beyond belief and probably doesn't care as much as she should.

This girl is stressed.

She has a lot on her plate with school and other extra curricular activities every college wants to accept you, so they can take your money. (Greedy people, man)

 Said girl is seriously stressed.

She is getting pressured from all the people in her life surrounding the big question.

"What do you want to do with the rest of your life?"

That question has been asked a million times in a million different ways.

How do you expect a 17 year old girl to make that big of a decision?

She still has to ask to use the restroom!

Often when she gets asked that question, she just smiles and says "I'm not quite sure yet."

And the response to that is "Well you better figure that out!"

Is that not what the first two years of college are about? To figure it out?

This just adds more to the stress.

Poor girl is treated like a child but has to act like an adult. What's that called again? Oh, right.

A double standard. That is stressful.

I am that girl and I am stressed.
