The Stressed Step-mother

Oh how Cinderella cried how at night

she thought her step-mother evil 

yet, that wasn't right.

Her step-mother was stressed 

all day and all night

she had to pay bills left and right.

She had to take care of three girls on her own 

since her husbands name was now on a stone.

Her own daughters not smart enough to survive on their own  

so she was hard on cinderella to make her strong. 

She showed her tough love and made her feel alone

so cinderella wouldn't depend on a man for a home.
