Strike At Your Will

Break my back if thats what you want to do Severe my spine with your blade My eyes have seen all they needed to see So go ahead, I'm not afraid... My legs have travelled to corners far and wide They've bled all the bleeding that they could But onward they marched courageously Many storms they've proudly with stood My nose has smelt many a fragrant smell The scent of a beautiful woman still lingers I will always admire this particular butterfly But for now she's slipped through my fingers. My ears have heard the sweetest sounds They've heard the softest of voices I know what I've seen, heard and smelled And I'd never make alternative choices So go ahead strike at your will But remember as you watch my bones fall The man who once stood before you won't break, he'll always proudly stand tall. Strike at your will take your best blow Just remember as you knock me to the ground Your knocking down the noblest of men And theres very few left to be found.
