Strings

Why is it that you control me,

your my puppeteer.

You lock me in a tower,

keeping people from coming near.

You come or you leave,

I can never tell.

I want to jump out of this tower,

but i'm trapped under your spell.

You attached me to strings,

so I could never leave.

And I keep begging please,

but you'll never set me free.

I'll always be connected,

You say I should feel protected,

but I only feel neglected,

from my heart that you've dissected.

And all these strings,

they're killing me,

I can hardly breath,

i'm slowly,

suffering,

someone save me.
