Strip me of my truths,

Strip me of my truths,

those that I've held on to for as long as I can remember,

the ones that twist and squeeze my psyche,

turning coggs the other way,

Bathe me in my tears that follow,

blankly staring - wondering about the meaning of my being,

I enter the shrine you have built for me,

I enter what I will from now on call my home,

Free from burden now I walk with lighter steps upon this earth,

I look around - the world I see is looking back at me at last!
