Strive

Strive.
One word, simply spelt, five letters, unlimited meaning
I cannot describe the word to you, as I am no poet
But if I were a poet I would say it is not something to be described

I would say that it is something you can feel
something you can feel in your veins
something you can feel in your heart
something you feel you have to do

Striving for something is working to be great at what you love

To strive for something is to realize you have a dream
You realize dreams do not get accomplished while you are sleeping
You strive to reach that point where you have finished that clay sculpture we call life
and then you decide that you want to make it better

You take all of that clay and you chip a little more a way from it
day by day you strive
the dream consumes you
becomes you

To strive is to dream
