Strive

Strive for perfection

While withering away

The need for speed slowly but surely ruins you

Desire to be the best, nothing less

The tragedy left upon her face

Feelings of never being good enough, pretty enough

Hipbones protruding

Sings a song of tears

Knowing that this is the wrong thing to do

But yet again what is right?

Once you free yourself though

That’s another story

Flawless is no longer in your vocabulary

Slow down, think

Find out who you truly are

And most importantly be you for once in your life
