" To strive to seek to find"

I am standing in front of you today to say

I am not sorry.

I am not sorry for being who i am.

dont worry i can see the distain in your eyes growing

like a seed of hate that you have been watering for years

watering with the tears of those you deem

"unfit".

You are telling me that i need to, "Be more like

the man to your right, and the woman to your left. because they

are good examples of what you should be."

I am here to tell you no, i will not

become like the people beside me, for they are not me

I am an individual who will not appologize for being true to who i am.

Because when i look at who i am i will not become another faded memory of a student

"That was once" because i am.

I am.

I am.

So,i say unto you. No. i will not adopt your practice.  i will continue to be

Me.
