Striving for my future

Growing up I always knew I wanted to go to college,

go to college and expand my knowledge,

not knowing how I was going to do it but knowing I would,

I wasn't always sure but I knew that I could.

Daddy's not around, mommy can barely make it,

to further my education is difficult but I can take it.

give me the chance to show you I can change the world and I will,

with the right money and the right resources, I'll finally be able to help pay my mommas bills.

Going to college is a chance of a lifetime, more than motivation and a mindset,

just knowing I'll be successful is priceless.
