Strong

Fear creeps slowly through my body Consuming every ounce of sanity I had. The overwhelming urge To see the beautiful crimson liquid Gushing from my wrists Returns. The small shiny blade calls to me Like a sweet little bird. I pick it up And turn it in my hand a few times. Then, I put it down Because I am stronger than that. I walk away And hope I can be that strong again.
