A strong Muslim woman's Philosophy of : this too shall pass.
She just wants to be treated equally Stigmatized she is Unaccepted she knows Unwanted she feels
Her Freedom she craves Her religion she Praises She is stro-oo-oo-oo-ng
She is strong !!!
Her faith strong in her heart where she belongs, she wears her scarf and long long dress with confidence. She stands before her mirror and sees the reflection of her choices: not her looks, her race, or all what she was given without her having any say in it, but her choice of clothing, faith, values, manners, and her use of her intelligence. She carries herself with pride and confidence. She has her freedom to have control over her own body that is only hers. She has her freedom to reveal what she desires to others and cover what she does not desire to reveal. She is in control of her own self. She is strong, strong, strong Ooooh when she blows her hardships away with a kisssssss from her curvy juicy red lipsssss, she is strong.
She has been crushed, abandoned, and left alone wrapped in those judgements and slurs that have become oppressing chains. False accusations, harmful words: she is choking, snap her neck goes broken. By those hurtful words she is constantly whipped, her flesh ripped, they are crippling her. She screams her lungs out, she is in pain, she breaks down in tears, she falls down wraps her legs with her chained arms and locks her body in a fetus position. “You will prevail!” a voice shouts from within to awake her broken soul. Rise, you are strong, strong, strong. At the lowest point of her life she holds on to the faith that fills her heart; she rises with confidence and tells herself “This too shall pass”. The chains turn into butterflies and she is free, free at last.
