Stronger

Through tears,

Through the months,

Through the pain,

I wait.

Many feel sorry,

Many stare,

Many judge,

But they don't get me.

Pain is a hurdle,

Pain is a challenge,

Pain makes up me,

I know I am strong.

Stronger than this illness,

Stronger than their judgements,

Stronger than the depression,

Because I am happy.

You will never know happiness,

You will always take things for granted,

You will never be enlightened,

Until you feel pain.

My strength will help others,

My strength will get me through,

My strength will keep my drive and will,

To keep living like I was always meant to.

I will beat this illness.
