the strongest princess
She’s the strongest princess of them all
Not because she was weeping
Not because she was sleeping
She’s waits for months on end
Wondering if she’ll ever see him again
Some phone calls, some text
Only if she knew what would come next
Nothing is for certain, that she knew
And often that made her blue
Some things hidden, some things said
Only I love you, in the end
She’s the strongest princess of them all
Not because she’s sleeping
Not because she’s weeping
But because her prince is a war hero
He is a marine
And that’s her prince
She sits at home waiting
For her goodnight kiss
