The Strongest Women on Earth

You walk through the world with your head held up high

For you know how tough life can be

You protect and you love but as hard as you try

You can’t always protect your children from harm

But the one thing you do no matter what

Is love them and hug them from sunset to dawn

You have so much pain held in your chest

Every breath you take gets tougher to take

But no matter what, you are still standing high!

Life was so difficult for you, and I saw first hand

It just hurt so much, I couldn’t erase your pain

No matter what life threw at you, you always came on top

Who you are! Is who I am!

Because what better mom to have than the strongest woman on earth

The one who fights for what she loves and loves for what she fights

You taught me to be brave, you taught me to be strong

Those lesson I will take until death do us apart

I have reached so much all thanks to you.

I know you always say I am far beyond who you are

There is a secret you should know

I will never have, half the strength you have

I will never be half the women you are

But much more or less I hope that one day I can be half the mom you are

You hug me when I am sad

You protect me when I am scared

You guide me when I am wrong

But most of all you love me with all my flaws

I always say this but it will never be enough

So thank you Mom for all your hard work, sacrifice, and most of all your love.
