Struck by a Feeling
Waiting on the road to Damascus
desire slipping through worn, tired fingers.
Wanting more than ever to know the answers
but still, nothing.
Tripping, but not falling
loving hands reach out to help.
Keep going, don't stop, hold on they say.
With a simple hope, giving all thats left inside, she pushes on
and with a last and desperate leap of faith
she is struck by a feeling
intrigued and caught by surprise
suddenly she knows,
she knew all along.
Looking with eyes so close
too skeptical, the truth was overlooked .
A girl who wandered long and far
searching
for something lodged deep in her heart
something that was already found
was found again when a girl was
stuck by a feeling
and thus a soul was saved.
