The Struggle
I look around and all I see
Are men who are half their age
Do you see why I go in rage?
It's all confusing to me.
Searching takes an eternity
Like staring at a white blank page
Wishing there's something for my eyes that'll engage
Just hoping what I'm looking for will pop out and hit me.
Without a date on the dance floor
By myself dancing in the rain
Being alone can really suck
Wait! I've found the man who I've been yearning for
Like a white, clean shirt with no stain
But only in my dreams will I find that chance of luck
