The Struggle

It's been hard to fight knowing that we will fall Trying to find the light looking for a way to fix it all It was fun for a while but the feelings soon fade as our our bodies hit the title we begin to clean up the mess we made The freedom that love gave has shackled us and become our chain There is little that we could save we lost so much, the amount we thought we'd gain The struggle has left us shattered The one body is now two left wondering what really mattered foolish to believe and trust what we knew Now our fragments are on the floor and I realize that you and I are no more

AshandRoses
this is a poem about two people who were high on love and then have to deal with the struggle of falling. they have to pick up the remains of their hearts and lives and learn how to live without one another.
