Struggle

He blames it all on her.
He tells her what to wear .
He asks her who drove her to work.
When she drove herself there .
She gets home 10 minutes late, and is scared of what he might do .
He's yelling at her before she even gets a chance to take off her shoes .
He talks down on her ,
Making her feel worse by the day .
He gives her orders ,
And she only responds with a simple " okay " .
On the inside she wants help ,
This is the worst type of pain she has ever felt ,
Physically , verbally , mentally
She's lucky that this time , he didn't hit her in the face with his belt.
The next day she gets into a car wreck .
But luckily she wasn't that much hurt .
When she got home ,
He yelled at her about how it sounded like the doctor was trying to flirt.
He raised his fist at her , and punched her in her chest .
She ran to grab the knife , said she was tired of him putting her to a test.
He thought she wouldn't do it , wouldn't hurt him back physically .
But it turns out he was wrong , he underestimated her abilities.
He attacked her , allowing the knife the flee from her hold,
Punched her again , told her to never , ever tend to get that bold.
He walked out , still on the floor is where she layed.
She said to herself " these games that he have made are done being played " .
She stood back up ,
Strong and bold .
" I AM A WOMAN . A STRONG AND PRECIOUS PIECE OF GOLD. "
She heard him coming , so she hid by the door .
When he entered she shoved a knife right into his side , shanked him , as he fell to the floor.
She watched him bleed .
Watched him struggle to breathe .
Called the police ,
Explained what happened ,
Sat down in her car
Her seatbelt is what she fastened .
Moral of the story , please don't wait
Being abused ? Talk to someone , get help , take action .
Before its too late.
