Struggle

If you ask me what shaped me this past year........

Struggle

The name of my year wrapped up in 2 syllables

And tied with the bows of trials and tribulations

If it wasn’t one thing it was another

Felt like I couldn’t go much further due to the countless obstacles in front of me

and yet I made it

You would think I would have lost my mind but I just had to find the warrior inside of me to fight these endless battles

And she is strong not because of her armor or her sword

But her word

And her faith

It made her have the strength of 10 men

And when I found her nothing could defeat me

I could face my troubles and tell them to flee allowing me to make it through the day

Even at my darkest hour I still had light that shined so bright that I could see my way to something that is better

My past days have built me to survive the future nights

So if you ask me what shaped me this past year

I will tell you..........Struggle
