The struggle

The struggle

The girl we knew as delicate and tender,
She used to light up and shimmer.

The girl whom we once understood,
Her heart was way too good.

She often laid there broken,
Ironically Misunderstood and unspoken.

Her tears were kept secret,
Transitioning into something she’d regret,
Her goals were never even met.

She was a girl who was very lost,
Her new addiction began to cost.

She barely even felt alive ,
But no one ever heard her cries .

She sat there her head was hazy,
She now had became lazy .

Her body started to broke down,
She had became grave bound.

The pain, it was too deep,
But she never even dared to speak .

No one knew the struggle.
